Modern, welcoming decor and music, well made coffee. Customer focused staff, offer a degree of customer service rarely found in Germany. S-Bahn stops across the street, 3 playgrounds within walking distance, child and parent friendly with a small secluded toy area on site as of Dec 2020.

The name really says it all, because everything here is prepared and managed with a lot of love. You just notice and taste it. So I can only recommend it.

My absolute favorite cafe. The food tastes great, the cake is absolutely amazing. The service is super friendly, as is the owner. All of them are very child-friendly, which unfortunately doesn't happen that often in Freiburg. All in one, a great place for a coffee, beer or wine.

Nice place and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the menu does not have a quantity, and more numbers such as croissants are meant in singles. Beans and croquettes are unfortunately finished products. The three minute egg was boiled and no longer runny. For the rather high price, you could have expected a little more. The croissant was delicious and the breakfast offerings themselves. Salt and pepper are missing on the tables. The American could certainly be improved.

My favorite place for wine spritzer and drinking coffee, under palm trees in summer and cozy in the warm in winter.

Friendly staff, delicious coffee, even soy and oat milk to choose from, fine breakfast. I feel completely comfortable here. We recommend.

Great breakfast place, which we visited on a Sunday. Reservation is highly recommended. The breakfast buffet looks quite small, but it is always freshly refilled, nothing is missing and it tasted very good. The service was nice, quick and competent. Keep it up!!!

Lovely, bright, cheerful place, but be aware that on weekend mornings, all tables are completely reserved far ahead of time, so you won’t be able to just drop in.

Good coffee and delicious hot bites. Prepared with love and good ingredients - the perfect breakfast for me. And of course to mention: super friendly and dedicated staff.

Very nice atmosphere! We were a couple here in the early afternoon. In addition to excellent coffee, there was also an excellent salad! The tuna salad and the salad with goat cheese wrapped in ham tasted great! The waitresses were also very nice and kept the overview and calm, even when the place got a bit crowded. There are enough parking spaces around the restaurant in the side streets - all free of charge. We will definitely drop by again!

Great interior and quiet location but the bread was an aufwarmgebaeck like you buy in a bag in Aldi. That and the sad ham and cheese made what had the potential to be a nice breakfast quit disappointing. The staff were lovely though

When you go to a new city and look for coffee shops you find many of them and visit them but they are all the same but here everything is different, the staff is nice and helpful and the service is very good and the coffee is very delicious, I would like to thank everyone who works there because they made my day.

The staff is amazing! They're super friendly and always in a good mood. We came to Freiburg for only three days and came to this cafe every day, because of the good atmosphere. The food and drinks are also great! You can't go wrong if you go there :)

Visited this cafe for the first time and fell in love. The staff was very very kind and the food was really good! I ordered the fitness fruhstuck and it was produce was super fresh and the croissants seemed as if they were baked in house. This place is very kid friendly so keep that in mind! Otherwise I highly recommend this place overall

If the day's muggy and grim, this cafe is the perfect antidote. Soothing lighting, chic seating; genuinely cheerful workers; and tasty food plated with attention and care. Other cafes might have better vistas (Hermann) and most will be bigger, but this one has all the charm.

Lovely little place to relax, eat something healthy or just grab a quick cuppa. It has nice and bright interior all around that brings in some homely feel and seating options are undoubtedly comfortable. Our salads were fresh and staff is kind and really nice. The selection on food items is a bit limited though but therefore everything seems homemade.
